There's something about the last first day of school that catches every parent off guard. One minute you're packing a lunch, the next you're wiping away tears in the driveway.

Give yourself permission to feel it all. This year is meant to be felt — not rushed through. A simple photo tradition, a favorite breakfast, or a handwritten note tucked into a backpack can turn an ordinary morning into a memory.

Most of all, be where your feet are. The to-do list can wait five minutes. This moment can't.
