Recruiting Websites

Discover the recruiting platforms college coaches actually use, learn how to build a strong online presence, and make informed decisions about where to invest your time and money.

Built by a mom navigating the recruiting process in real time — including the confusing world of recruiting platforms and paid services.
Be Informed

Every Platform Isn’t Created Equal

As we navigated our own recruiting journey, we quickly discovered there are countless companies promising to get your athlete “seen.” Some offer valuable tools and exposure, while others rely on expensive memberships and marketing that may not provide the return families expect.

The truth is that no recruiting website can replace consistent communication with college coaches, strong academics, quality game film, and hard work on the court.

Before investing in any recruiting platform, talk with your high school and club coaches. They often know which services are respected within your sport and which ones may not be worth the cost. Our goal is to help you understand the options so you can make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary expenses.

A Note From Our Family

We intentionally don’t rank recruiting websites because every sport, division, and coaching staff uses different tools. What works well for one athlete may not be the right investment for another. We encourage families to ask trusted high school and club coaches which platforms they recommend before spending money.

What Recruiting Websites Can't Do

Section 3

Think Before You Buy

Run through these honest questions before entering a credit card.

  • Have I asked my high school coach if this platform is worthwhile?
  • Has my travel or AAU coach recommended it?
  • Do colleges I'm interested in actually use this service?
  • Am I paying for useful tools or just promises?
  • Would this money be better spent on camps, training, travel, or campus visits?
  • Can I accomplish the same goal with free resources?

Section 6

Questions to Ask Before Purchasing

Tap each question to see what to look for before committing to any recruiting service.

Ask whether trusted high school or club coaches actually recommend it — not just online reviews or sales reps.

Section 7

Our Biggest Lesson From This Journey

If we could offer one piece of advice, it would be this: don’t feel pressured to buy every recruiting service you come across.

Recruiting can feel overwhelming, and many companies know families are looking for every possible advantage. Before making a financial commitment, seek advice from trusted coaches who understand your athlete and the recruiting landscape in your sport.

Every family’s journey is different. Invest in the resources that truly help your athlete grow, communicate effectively, and find the right college — not just the ones with the biggest marketing budget.
